New Listening Journals

You may remember that last year I began teaching a writing intensive version of the standard undergraduate music history sequence. As part of that class, I had my students keep a blog where they posted their writings about recordings we were listening to that fell outside what we normally covered in class or amplified what we discussed in some way. I've continued that tradition this fall with the early music history section, only now I have my students reading each other's blogs and writing responses. I think it's turned out extremely interesting and thought you might enjoy reading what my students discovered about medieval music.
